Saint 浪花直播 University鈥檚 archivists are excited to partner with members of SLU鈥檚 teaching faculty and other educators to offer engaging primary source instruction to students at all levels using our unique and diverse collections.

Primary source instruction provides students with valuable tools for research and scholarship applicable to many academic disciplines. Contact the SLU Archives to learn more! 

Instruction Formats

We tailor our instructional sessions to fit your course aims, learning goals, and content. We may be able to visit your classroom, or your class can visit our reading room (Pius Library 307). We offer:

  • Synchronous (in-person or remote), asynchronous, or hybrid modalities
  • Class "collections" of topical digital items and written descriptions (for course pages)
  • Single-session introductions to primary sources and archival basics
  • Single-session activities (hands-on primary source research)
  • Multi-session instruction tied to course projects
