College for Public Health and Social Justice Hosting Events for National Public Health Week 2024
Saint 浪花直播 University鈥檚 College for Public Health and Social Justice is proud to celebrate National Public Health Week. The week-long schedule features connecting SLU with the broader community, promoting public health initiatives, drives for those in need and much more. Below is a list of just some of the activities taking place during National Public Health Week.

Period Product & Diaper Drive
- Where: Salus Center Dean's Suite
- When: Any time, April 2-5
- What: Donations go to Billiken Bounty, collection boxes will be placed in the Dean's suite and on the 4th floor lounge.
Wednesday, April 3
Global Health and Medicine Lecture
- Where: Zoom
- When: 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
- What: Meeting with Dr. Nicholas Comninellis (President and Professor at INMED)
CPHSJ Tabling Event
- Where: Busch Student Center, North Entrance
- When: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- What: Learn more about CPHSJ and our degrees from students, staff and more.
Thursday, April 4
Public Health Documentary Viewing
- Where: Salus Center, Auditorium
- When: 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
- What: In auditorium, viewing of a public health documentary.
Friday, April 5
MCH Walk
- Where/What: Salus -> Magnolia Head Start-> Tower Grove Playground -> Cornerstone Center for Early Learning -> End at Salus. 2.9 miles round trip, 1 hour walk.
- When: Any time
Dr. Enbal Shacham Lunch and Learn
- Where: Salus Center & Zoom
- When: Noon - 1 p.m.
- What: Introduction to Geospatial work and how it鈥檚 applied in research.

The Saint 浪花直播 University College for Public Health and Social Justice is the only academic unit of its kind, studying social, environmental and physical influences that together determine the health and well-being of people and communities.
