Two CPHSJ Faculty Receive AUPHA Accolades at Annual Meeting

Two Saint 浪花直播 University College for Public Health and Social Justice faculty members received honors at this summer鈥檚 Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) Annual Meeting.

At the annual meeting this June in Maryland, the organization formally announced Kimberly R. Enard, Ph.D., FACHE, SLU's Master of Health Administration program director, as . Enard also serves as an associate professor of health management and policy at SLU, and is a board-certified health care management professional. 

鈥淲e are fortunate to have someone the caliber of Dr. Enard in our department and leading our graduate program,鈥 said Michael Rozier, S.J., Ph.D., chair of the Department of Health Management. 鈥淗er appointment to AUPHA鈥檚 board is testament to both her national profile and her willingness to give of her time to improve the field. I鈥檓 grateful she鈥檒l bring the knowledge she gains from the board back to SLU to help strengthen our already excellent program.鈥

At the same meeting, Rozier was one of two professors to receive the sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Executives.

The AUPHA board and leadership recognize accomplished and valued colleagues across management and leadership; policy; ambulatory care and practice management; and diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and social justice who have excelled in teaching at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels with AUPHA鈥檚 2023 Teaching Excellence Awards.

鈥淏eing in the classroom is a privilege I try to never take for granted,鈥 Rozier said. 鈥淚鈥檓 grateful for the recognition from AUPHA, but I鈥檓 even more grateful for the trust our students put in us each week of the semester.鈥

The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) is a global network of colleges, universities, faculty, individuals and organizations dedicated to the improvement of health and healthcare delivery through excellence in healthcare management and policy education.
