Dannielle J. Davis
Dannielle J. Davis, Ph.D.

Dannielle J. Davis, Ph.D., is this year's recipient of the Reinert Center's James H. Korn Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award. The Office of the Provost recognized her at the first Celebration of Teaching event, which took place on March 26. At this event, faculty gave TED-style talks on their teaching experiences. The event offered just one small way to recognize the excellent and essential teaching that happens across the University every day. The James H. Korn Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Award was established in 2006, in recognition of Dr. Jim Korn's many contributions to the research on teaching and learning. As a professor emeritus in psychology, Dr. Korn was deeply committed to scholarly teaching at SLU. He was also a member of the faculty committee that established the Reinert Center in 1997.

The honorees include administrators, faculty, staff, and students who are recognized for their contributions, commitment, and lives of service to the University and their community. Winners are selected from nominations submitted by colleagues, friends, supervisors, and others whose lives they have touched.
