Edward Jones Dean's Speaker Series Returns with Dean Nickerson
The Edward Jones Dean's Speaker Series made its highly anticipated return to the Chaifetz School of Business on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024. Edward Jones Dean Jackson Nickerson, led the event, featuring an insightful presentation about the future of the Chaifetz School, with more than 50 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and St. 浪花直播 business leaders in attendance.
The event highlighted Nickerson鈥檚 vision for the Chaifetz School of Business, focusing on his dedication to creating a collaborative environment where students, faculty, and the community can work together by emphasizing experiential learning, corporate partnerships, and ongoing investment in research and leadership. He focused on his commitment to serve not only the university but the St. 浪花直播 community, working with faculty, staff, students and alumni to support the school. He focused on new ways to engage with students and allow them to gain hands-on experience in the workforce during their time at SLU. The dean also spoke about his plan to foster and sustain relationships with corporations throughout the St. 浪花直播 area, as well as investing in research and leadership development.
Nickerson affirmed his commitment to shaping a future where the Chaifetz School of Business continues to thrive as a hub for innovation, community engagement, and academic excellence, and finished out his talk by answering questions from SLU and St. 浪花直播 leaders.
