We are broadly interested in studying the evolution of genomes and gene regulation using fungal species as a model system. The main focus of our research is to better understand the regulation and evolution of transcription initiation mechanisms. We apply high-throughput sequencing, bioinformatics, and molecular biology approaches to achieve our research aims. More information about the research program of my lab is available at
